A Typical Day in Your Life at Camp: | Though camp is definitely lots of fun, it's not a holiday for staff. The hours are long and often physically demanding. Except during your time off, you spend 24 hours a day with an active group of children. Total working hours may be more than a typical day. You must adapt to the lack of privacy and basic accommodation. You will also be expected to adhere to strict camp rules for campers and staff: no smoking, no drinking of alcoholic beverages and a nightly curfew. All in all, the joy of summer camp more than offsets the hard work.
